Aid to Liberia

In 2015, Grace joined other Lutheran churches in contributing to a “Stamp Out Ebola” campaign organized by Pastor Arthur Murray of our neighbor Transfiguration Lutheran Church, in concert with Global Health Ministries in Fridley. Following are excerpts from an emailed letter of thanks from Scott Lien, Director of Operations at Global Health Ministries. Look for upcoming opportunities for shared mission with Global Health Ministries!

Friends,

Please know a 40’ hi-cube container is on-route to beautiful Liberia. Praise God!

Thank you to EVERYONE who helped collect, sort, box, label, transport, and load these items into this container. Last Saturday was WONDERFUL, and we give thanks to God for all the fingerprints and love that are involved with this shipment. Volunteers from Transfiguration Lutheran Church, Grace Lutheran Church, Christ the King Lutheran Church, St Stephen Lutheran Church, Ebenezer Community Church, and others. Praise God indeed!

Please find attached pictures from the loading on Saturday, plus pictures from Monday as we finished the container. The container has left GHM’s warehouse, and is on-route to Monrovia.

Blessings,
Scott
